Following the release of his ‘Cinderella’ video in October, which he calls the “Baddest Video Ever”, Mr Olu Maintain is back again to thrill fans with a new track which has been tagged the “Baddest Remix Ever (BRE)”; a remix of his 2011 monster hit ‘NAWTi’.
NAWTi Baddest (RMX) Ever sees Mr Olu assemble an extraordinary all-star line-up of five of Nigeria’s biggest female artistes; Seyi Shay, Cynthia Morgan, Victoria Kimani, Yemi Alade and Emma Nyra.

On her 2016 album Mama Africa, Nigerian afrobeats artist Yemi Alade explores sounds from all over her continent, but the video for its latest single “Tumbum” sticks closer to home. In a riff on the food-themed lyrics of the song, Alade plays a restaurant cook who serves up tasty jollof and fufu in a rural Nigerian community. With a playful storyline starring Nollywood luminaries Ime Bishop Umoh and Beverly Osu, it’s a hilarious accompaniment to the Selebobo-produced track.

The last time we had a vessel full of pure awesomeness from Phyno’s loins was 2014 when he gave us No Guts, No Glory. An album that was touted by many music pundits as by far the best, penultimate year.

Prior to the release of “The Playmaker“ the Eastern rapper held sway with singles which doted more on his sing-ability as opposed to an adept rap prowess that’s he’s become all too well-known for.
